TaoMate H3 LoRAs for ComfyUI - Original & FL2VA

ComfyUI format conversions of two separate official TaoMate H3 LoRA checkpoints from the Alibaba TaoLive AIGC Team, based on MiniMax H3.

New addition: TaoMate-H3-FL2VA 3-Step LoRA in BF16. The original TaoMate H3 3-Step conversion remains available under its existing filename.

No additional training or fine-tuning was performed. These files are adapters; they do not include the MiniMax H3 base model.

These are different source checkpoints, not two precision versions of the same checkpoint. The FL2VA file is converted from the separate official TaoMate-H3-FL2VA release.

New: TaoMate H3 FL2VA

The official FL2VA release targets first/last-frame-to-audio-video generation with a 3-step LoRA and a dedicated streaming runtime.

Conversion details

• Original FP32 weights converted to BF16, reducing storage from approximately 2.48 GB to 1.24 GB.
• All 416 source weight tensors / 208 LoRA A/B pairs retained, including token_refiner weights.
• Rank 128 / alpha 128 retained.
• Source .lora_a keys mapped to .lora_down.weight.
• Source .lora_b keys mapped to .lora_up.weight.
• diffusion_model. prefix and per-module alpha values added for ComfyUI loading.
• Matrix orientation preserved; no merging, pruning, or retraining.

BF16 reduces numerical precision; this is not a lossless copy of the FP32 values.

Scope and compatibility

This download supplies converted LoRA weights. It does not install the official TaoMate runtime, persistent audio-video KV caching, or streaming generation.

First/last-frame conditioning must be implemented by the chosen ComfyUI workflow and model nodes. Loading this adapter alone does not add those capabilities.

The conversion was checked against the source checkpoint's tensor names and shapes. Converter tests were performed on synthetic tensors. Full checkpoint loading and generation in ComfyUI have not been independently verified by the converter author in this environment. Compatibility depends on the MiniMax H3 model, custom nodes, and LoRA loader used.

Installation

1. Download the checkpoint you want to test from the table above.
2. Place the .safetensors file in:

ComfyUI/models/loras/

3. Refresh the model list or restart ComfyUI.
4. Select the file in a MiniMax H3-compatible LoRA loader.
5. Connect it to your MiniMax H3 workflow and check the console for unused LoRA keys or tensor-shape errors.

Both files can remain in the same folder. Select the intended checkpoint by filename.

Sampling

The official TaoMate adapters target 3-step generation. Three sampling steps are a starting point for testing in ComfyUI; the official runtime's denoising procedure is not reproduced simply by choosing a step count.

Use a MiniMax H3 base model and conditioning path compatible with the selected adapter. Sampler, scheduler, guidance, and adapter strength depend on the workflow; no universal ComfyUI configuration is claimed here.

For a comparison, keep the reference image, prompt, seed, resolution, frame count, sampler, and other settings fixed, and change only the selected adapter.

Original TaoMate H3 3-Step

The earlier conversion remains available as:

taomate_h3_3step_comfy.safetensors

It was converted from the original TaoMate-H3 checkpoint to the parameter/key layout used by compatible ComfyUI MiniMax H3 LoRA loaders. Its filename and download link remain unchanged.

The converted weights remain subject to the original TaoMate H3 and MiniMax H3 licensing terms, including the MiniMax H3 Community License Agreement. Format and precision conversion do not change those terms.
