Request for Compliance with EU Regulations and provision of Llama 3.2 Vision Models
This is a request for Meta to comply with the EU regulatory framework and make the Llama 3.2 Vision models available to EU residents. Currently, access to these models is being denied for users in the EU. The Llama 3.2 Vision model, a cutting-edge model with substantial potential, is currently inaccessible to EU residents, despite the growing demand for advanced vision-based AI tools within the region. Vision models themselves do not conflict with EU regulations, see Mistral Nemo, for example.
I request that Meta:
- Review legal or technical limitations currently preventing the availability of Llama 3.2 Vision models in the EU.
- Work towards providing full access to these models for EU residents.
- If any barriers exist that prevent compliance, I encourage Meta to engage with EU regulatory bodies to resolve them promptly.
Thank you,
Balint Molnar-Kalo, Solutions Architect
