iLRM: An Iterative Large 3D Reconstruction Model

Feed-forward 3D modeling has emerged as a promising approach for rapid and high-quality 3D reconstruction. In particular, directly generating explicit 3D representations, such as 3D Gaussian splatting, has attracted significant attention due to its fast and high-quality rendering, as well as numerous applications. However, many state-of-the-art methods, primarily based on transformer architectures, suffer from severe scalability issues because they rely on full attention across image tokens from multiple input views, resulting in prohibitive computational costs as the number of views or image resolution increases. Toward a scalable and efficient feed-forward 3D reconstruction, we introduce an iterative Large 3D Reconstruction Model (iLRM) that generates 3D Gaussian representations through an iterative refinement mechanism, guided by three core principles: (1) decoupling the scene representation from input-view images to enable compact 3D representations; (2) decomposing fully-attentional multi-view interactions into a two-stage attention scheme to reduce computational costs; and (3) injecting high-resolution information at every layer to achieve high-fidelity reconstruction. Experimental results on widely used datasets, such as RE10K and DL3DV, demonstrate that iLRM outperforms existing methods in both reconstruction quality and speed. Notably, iLRM exhibits superior scalability, delivering significantly higher reconstruction quality under comparable computational cost by efficiently leveraging a larger number of input views.

Holo360D: A Large-Scale Real-World Dataset with Continuous Trajectories for Advancing Panoramic 3D Reconstruction and Beyond

While feed-forward 3D reconstruction models have advanced rapidly, they still exhibit degraded performance on panoramas due to spherical distortions. Moreover, existing panoramic 3D datasets are predominantly collected with 360 cameras fixed at discrete locations, resulting in discontinuous trajectories. These limitations critically hinder the development of panoramic feed-forward 3D reconstruction, especially for the multi-view setting. In this paper, we present Holo360D, a comprehensive dataset containing 109,495 panoramas paired with registered point clouds, meshes, and aligned camera poses. To our knowledge, Holo360D is the first large-scale dataset that provides continuous panoramic sequences with accurately aligned high-completeness depth maps. The raw data are initially collected using a 3D laser scanner coupled with a 360 camera. Subsequently, the raw data are processed with both online and offline SLAM systems. Furthermore, to enhance the 3D data quality, a post-processing pipeline tailored for the 360 dataset is proposed, including geometry denoising, mesh hole filling, and region-specific remeshing. Finally, we establish a new benchmark by fine-tuning 3D reconstruction models on Holo360D, providing key insights into effective fine-tuning strategies. Our results demonstrate that Holo360D delivers superior training signals and provides a comprehensive benchmark for advancing panoramic 3D reconstruction models. Datasets and Code will be made publicly available.

UAVFF3D: A Geometry-Aware Benchmark for Feed-Forward UAV 3D Reconstruction

Feed-forward 3D reconstruction has advanced rapidly, but current models remain unreliable in UAV photogrammetric acquisition. We argue that this failure is caused not only by appearance-domain shift, but also by UAV-specific camera-geometry variations, especially oblique views and HFOV-height ambiguity. Existing UAV datasets mainly emphasize scene diversity and provide limited coverage of camera configurations, which restricts robustness evaluation and UAV-domain adaptation. To address this gap, we introduce UAVFF3D, a geometry-aware real-synthetic benchmark for feed-forward UAV 3D reconstruction. UAVFF3D contains more than 170k real UAV images and more than 370k synthetic images rendered from high-quality textured 3D models, covering diverse HFOVs, flight altitudes, viewing directions, and acquisition patterns. It also includes a controlled HFOV-height test subset for diagnosing projection-geometry ambiguity. We further propose an evaluation protocol that jointly assesses camera-geometry estimation and dense scene reconstruction under a shared global alignment, avoiding the bias caused by separate camera and geometry alignments. Experiments on representative feed-forward reconstruction models show that UAVFF3D-based domain adaptation consistently improves camera and geometry estimation, reducing Ray Error by up to 84.2%, Pose ATE by up to 76.0%, and Chamfer Distance by up to 41.1%. In oblique scenes, adaptation reduces the oblique-nadir rotation gap by up to 90.7%. Under HFOV-height ambiguity, it improves robustness across HFOV-height configurations and yields more stable performance across HFOV settings. Incorporating camera priors further improves reconstruction under UAV-specific acquisition geometries. The dataset and evaluation code are available at https://github.com/yanxian-ll/UAVFF3D .

Taming Feed-forward Reconstruction Models as Latent Encoders for 3D Generative Models

Recent AI-based 3D content creation has largely evolved along two paths: feed-forward image-to-3D reconstruction approaches and 3D generative models trained with 2D or 3D supervision. In this work, we show that existing feed-forward reconstruction methods can serve as effective latent encoders for training 3D generative models, thereby bridging these two paradigms. By reusing powerful pre-trained reconstruction models, we avoid computationally expensive encoder network training and obtain rich 3D latent features for generative modeling for free. However, the latent spaces of reconstruction models are not well-suited for generative modeling due to their unstructured nature. To enable flow-based model training on these latent features, we develop post-processing pipelines, including protocols to standardize the features and spatial weighting to concentrate on important regions. We further incorporate a 2D image space perceptual rendering loss to handle the high-dimensional latent spaces. Finally, we propose a multi-stream transformer-based rectified flow architecture to achieve linear scaling and high-quality text-conditioned 3D generation. Our framework leverages the advancements of feed-forward reconstruction models to enhance the scalability of 3D generative modeling, achieving both high computational efficiency and state-of-the-art performance in text-to-3D generation.

Flex3D: Feed-Forward 3D Generation With Flexible Reconstruction Model And Input View Curation

Generating high-quality 3D content from text, single images, or sparse view images remains a challenging task with broad applications.Existing methods typically employ multi-view diffusion models to synthesize multi-view images, followed by a feed-forward process for 3D reconstruction. However, these approaches are often constrained by a small and fixed number of input views, limiting their ability to capture diverse viewpoints and, even worse, leading to suboptimal generation results if the synthesized views are of poor quality. To address these limitations, we propose Flex3D, a novel two-stage framework capable of leveraging an arbitrary number of high-quality input views. The first stage consists of a candidate view generation and curation pipeline. We employ a fine-tuned multi-view image diffusion model and a video diffusion model to generate a pool of candidate views, enabling a rich representation of the target 3D object. Subsequently, a view selection pipeline filters these views based on quality and consistency, ensuring that only the high-quality and reliable views are used for reconstruction. In the second stage, the curated views are fed into a Flexible Reconstruction Model (FlexRM), built upon a transformer architecture that can effectively process an arbitrary number of inputs. FlemRM directly outputs 3D Gaussian points leveraging a tri-plane representation, enabling efficient and detailed 3D generation. Through extensive exploration of design and training strategies, we optimize FlexRM to achieve superior performance in both reconstruction and generation tasks. Our results demonstrate that Flex3D achieves state-of-the-art performance, with a user study winning rate of over 92% in 3D generation tasks when compared to several of the latest feed-forward 3D generative models.

Lite3R: A Model-Agnostic Framework for Efficient Feed-Forward 3D Reconstruction

Transformer-based 3D reconstruction has emerged as a powerful paradigm for recovering geometry and appearance from multi-view observations, offering strong performance across challenging visual conditions. As these models scale to larger backbones and higher-resolution inputs, improving their efficiency becomes increasingly important for practical deployment. However, modern 3D transformer pipelines face two coupled challenges: dense multi-view attention creates substantial token-mixing overhead, and low-precision execution can destabilize geometry-sensitive representations and degrade depth, pose, and 3D consistency. To address the first challenge, we propose Lite3R, a model-agnostic teacher-student framework that replaces dense attention with Sparse Linear Attention to preserve important geometric interactions while reducing attention cost. To address the second challenge, we introduce a parameter-efficient FP8-aware quantization-aware training (FP8-aware QAT) strategy with partial attention distillation, which freezes the vast majority of pretrained backbone parameters and trains only lightweight linear-branch projection layers, enabling stable low-precision deployment while retaining pretrained geometric priors. We further evaluate Lite3R on two representative backbones, VGGT and DA3-Large, over BlendedMVS and DTU64, showing that it substantially reduces latency (1.7-2.0x) and memory usage (1.9-2.4x) while preserving competitive reconstruction quality overall. These results demonstrate that Lite3R provides an effective algorithm-system co-design approach for practical transformer-based 3D reconstruction. Code: https://github.com/AIGeeksGroup/Lite3R. Feed-Forward 3D Scene Modeling: A Problem-Driven Perspective

Reconstructing 3D representations from 2D inputs is a fundamental task in computer vision and graphics, serving as a cornerstone for understanding and interacting with the physical world. While traditional methods achieve high fidelity, they are limited by slow per-scene optimization or category-specific training, which hinders their practical deployment and scalability. Hence, generalizable feed-forward 3D reconstruction has witnessed rapid development in recent years. By learning a model that maps images directly to 3D representations in a single forward pass, these methods enable efficient reconstruction and robust cross-scene generalization. Our survey is motivated by a critical observation: despite the diverse geometric output representations, ranging from implicit fields to explicit primitives, existing feed-forward approaches share similar high-level architectural patterns, such as image feature extraction backbones, multi-view information fusion mechanisms, and geometry-aware design principles. Consequently, we abstract away from these representation differences and instead focus on model design, proposing a novel taxonomy centered on model design strategies that are agnostic to the output format. Our proposed taxonomy organizes the research directions into five key problems that drive recent research development: feature enhancement, geometry awareness, model efficiency, augmentation strategies and temporal-aware models. To support this taxonomy with empirical grounding and standardized evaluation, we further comprehensively review related benchmarks and datasets, and extensively discuss and categorize real-world applications based on feed-forward 3D models. Finally, we outline future directions to address open challenges such as scalability, evaluation standards, and world modeling.

Splat and Distill: Augmenting Teachers with Feed-Forward 3D Reconstruction For 3D-Aware Distillation

Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) have achieved remarkable success when applied to various downstream 2D tasks. Despite their effectiveness, they often exhibit a critical lack of 3D awareness. To this end, we introduce Splat and Distill, a framework that instills robust 3D awareness into 2D VFMs by augmenting the teacher model with a fast, feed-forward 3D reconstruction pipeline. Given 2D features produced by a teacher model, our method first lifts these features into an explicit 3D Gaussian representation, in a feedforward manner. These 3D features are then ``splatted" onto novel viewpoints, producing a set of novel 2D feature maps used to supervise the student model, ``distilling" geometrically grounded knowledge. By replacing slow per-scene optimization of prior work with our feed-forward lifting approach, our framework avoids feature-averaging artifacts, creating a dynamic learning process where the teacher's consistency improves alongside that of the student. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation on a suite of downstream tasks, including monocular depth estimation, surface normal estimation, multi-view correspondence, and semantic segmentation. Our method significantly outperforms prior works, not only achieving substantial gains in 3D awareness but also enhancing the underlying semantic richness of 2D features. Review of Feed-forward 3D Reconstruction: From DUSt3R to VGGT

3D reconstruction, which aims to recover the dense three-dimensional structure of a scene, is a cornerstone technology for numerous applications, including augmented/virtual reality, autonomous driving, and robotics. While traditional pipelines like Structure from Motion (SfM) and Multi-View Stereo (MVS) achieve high precision through iterative optimization, they are limited by complex workflows, high computational cost, and poor robustness in challenging scenarios like texture-less regions. Recently, deep learning has catalyzed a paradigm shift in 3D reconstruction. A new family of models, exemplified by DUSt3R, has pioneered a feed-forward approach. These models employ a unified deep network to jointly infer camera poses and dense geometry directly from an Unconstrained set of images in a single forward pass. This survey provides a systematic review of this emerging domain. We begin by dissecting the technical framework of these feed-forward models, including their Transformer-based correspondence modeling, joint pose and geometry regression mechanisms, and strategies for scaling from two-view to multi-view scenarios. To highlight the disruptive nature of this new paradigm, we contrast it with both traditional pipelines and earlier learning-based methods like MVSNet. Furthermore, we provide an overview of relevant datasets and evaluation metrics. Finally, we discuss the technology's broad application prospects and identify key future challenges and opportunities, such as model accuracy and scalability, and handling dynamic scenes.

Mix3R: Mixing Feed-forward Reconstruction and Generative 3D Priors for Joint Multi-view Aligned 3D Reconstruction and Pose Estimation

Recent trends in sparse-view 3D reconstruction have taken two different paths: feed-forward reconstruction that predicts pixel-aligned point maps without a complete geometry, and generative 3D reconstruction that generates complete geometry but often with poor input-alignment. We present Mix3R, a novel generative 3D reconstruction method which mixes feed-forward reconstruction and 3D generation into a single framework in an aligned manner. Mix3R generates a 3D shape in two stages: a sparse voxel generation stage and a textured geometry generation stage. Unlike pure generative methods, our first-stage generation jointly produces a coarse 3D structure (sparse voxels), per-view point maps and camera parameters aligned to that 3D structure. This is made possible by introducing a Mixture-of-Transformers architecture that inserts global self-attentions to a feed-forward reconstruction model and a 3D generative model, both pretrained on large-scale data. This design effectively retains the pretrained priors but enables better 2D-3D alignment. Based on the initial aligned generations of sparse 3D voxels and point maps, we compute an overlap-based attention bias that is directly added to another pretrained textured geometry generation model, enabling it to correctly place input textures onto generated shapes in a training-free manner. Our design brings mutual benefits to both feed-forward reconstruction and 3D generation: The feed-forward branch learns to ground its predictions to a generative 3D prior, and conversely, the 3D generation branch is conditioned on geometrically informative features from the feed-forward branch. As a result, our method produces 3D shapes with better input alignment compared with pure 3D generative methods, together with camera pose estimations more accurate than previous feed-forward reconstruction methods. NoDrift3R: Raymap-Guided Coupling for Drift-Robust Unposed Feed-Forward 3D Reconstruction

Pose-Free Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has recently emerged as a powerful paradigm for fast scene reconstruction. However, its performance degrades significantly in long image sequences due to cumulative camera pose estimation drift, which propagates errors into geometric modeling and severely limits rendering fidelity. In this work, we revisit the long-sequence bottleneck and identify pose drift as the primary factor restricting reconstruction quality. Furthermore, while SfM-based pseudo ground-truth poses introduce sensor noise, purely rendering-based supervision often leads to optimization instability and local minima due to the entangled optimization of geometry and pose. To address the challenges, we propose a synergistic pose-free framework that explicitly couples geometry and appearance via a Raymap-Guided Coupling Module (RGC). Concretely, we anchor Gaussian centers to raymap-induced geometry and jointly optimize RGB reconstruction, raymap consistency, and camera regularization under a unified objective, yielding a bidirectional feedback loop: stronger geometry improves rendering, and appearance supervision in turn refines geometry and pose. To further stabilize learning across wide temporal ranges, we introduce a Dual-Frequency Viewpoint Scheduling strategy that combines easy-to-hard interval expansion with replay of short-interval pairs. Extensive experiments across in-domain and cross-domain datasets show consistent gains in both rendering and pose estimation, with notably improved robustness on long sequences. Ablation studies validate our central insight: explicitly designed geometry-appearance synergy is the key to scalable and drift-robust pose-free feed-forward 3D reconstruction.

GTR: Improving Large 3D Reconstruction Models through Geometry and Texture Refinement

We propose a novel approach for 3D mesh reconstruction from multi-view images. Our method takes inspiration from large reconstruction models like LRM that use a transformer-based triplane generator and a Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) model trained on multi-view images. However, in our method, we introduce several important modifications that allow us to significantly enhance 3D reconstruction quality. First of all, we examine the original LRM architecture and find several shortcomings. Subsequently, we introduce respective modifications to the LRM architecture, which lead to improved multi-view image representation and more computationally efficient training. Second, in order to improve geometry reconstruction and enable supervision at full image resolution, we extract meshes from the NeRF field in a differentiable manner and fine-tune the NeRF model through mesh rendering. These modifications allow us to achieve state-of-the-art performance on both 2D and 3D evaluation metrics, such as a PSNR of 28.67 on Google Scanned Objects (GSO) dataset. Despite these superior results, our feed-forward model still struggles to reconstruct complex textures, such as text and portraits on assets. To address this, we introduce a lightweight per-instance texture refinement procedure. This procedure fine-tunes the triplane representation and the NeRF color estimation model on the mesh surface using the input multi-view images in just 4 seconds. This refinement improves the PSNR to 29.79 and achieves faithful reconstruction of complex textures, such as text. Additionally, our approach enables various downstream applications, including text- or image-to-3D generation.

Scal3R: Scalable Test-Time Training for Large-Scale 3D Reconstruction

This paper addresses the task of large-scale 3D scene reconstruction from long video sequences. Recent feed-forward reconstruction models have shown promising results by directly regressing 3D geometry from RGB images without explicit 3D priors or geometric constraints. However, these methods often struggle to maintain reconstruction accuracy and consistency over long sequences due to limited memory capacity and the inability to effectively capture global contextual cues. In contrast, humans can naturally exploit the global understanding of the scene to inform local perception. Motivated by this, we propose a novel neural global context representation that efficiently compresses and retains long-range scene information, enabling the model to leverage extensive contextual cues for enhanced reconstruction accuracy and consistency. The context representation is realized through a set of lightweight neural sub-networks that are rapidly adapted during test time via self-supervised objectives, which substantially increases memory capacity without incurring significant computational overhead. The experiments on multiple large-scale benchmarks, including the KITTI Odometry~Geiger2012CVPR and Oxford Spires~tao2025spires datasets, demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in handling ultra-large scenes, achieving leading pose accuracy and state-of-the-art 3D reconstruction accuracy while maintaining efficiency. DiMeR: Disentangled Mesh Reconstruction Model

With the advent of large-scale 3D datasets, feed-forward 3D generative models, such as the Large Reconstruction Model (LRM), have gained significant attention and achieved remarkable success. However, we observe that RGB images often lead to conflicting training objectives and lack the necessary clarity for geometry reconstruction. In this paper, we revisit the inductive biases associated with mesh reconstruction and introduce DiMeR, a novel disentangled dual-stream feed-forward model for sparse-view mesh reconstruction. The key idea is to disentangle both the input and framework into geometry and texture parts, thereby reducing the training difficulty for each part according to the Principle of Occam's Razor. Given that normal maps are strictly consistent with geometry and accurately capture surface variations, we utilize normal maps as exclusive input for the geometry branch to reduce the complexity between the network's input and output. Moreover, we improve the mesh extraction algorithm to introduce 3D ground truth supervision. As for texture branch, we use RGB images as input to obtain the textured mesh. Overall, DiMeR demonstrates robust capabilities across various tasks, including sparse-view reconstruction, single-image-to-3D, and text-to-3D. Numerous experiments show that DiMeR significantly outperforms previous methods, achieving over 30% improvement in Chamfer Distance on the GSO and OmniObject3D dataset.

H3R: Hybrid Multi-view Correspondence for Generalizable 3D Reconstruction

Despite recent advances in feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting, generalizable 3D reconstruction remains challenging, particularly in multi-view correspondence modeling. Existing approaches face a fundamental trade-off: explicit methods achieve geometric precision but struggle with ambiguous regions, while implicit methods provide robustness but suffer from slow convergence. We present H3R, a hybrid framework that addresses this limitation by integrating volumetric latent fusion with attention-based feature aggregation. Our framework consists of two complementary components: an efficient latent volume that enforces geometric consistency through epipolar constraints, and a camera-aware Transformer that leverages Plücker coordinates for adaptive correspondence refinement. By integrating both paradigms, our approach enhances generalization while converging 2times faster than existing methods. Furthermore, we show that spatial-aligned foundation models (e.g., SD-VAE) substantially outperform semantic-aligned models (e.g., DINOv2), resolving the mismatch between semantic representations and spatial reconstruction requirements. Our method supports variable-number and high-resolution input views while demonstrating robust cross-dataset generalization. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance across multiple benchmarks, with significant PSNR improvements of 0.59 dB, 1.06 dB, and 0.22 dB on the RealEstate10K, ACID, and DTU datasets, respectively. Glob3R: Global Structure-from-Motion with 3D Foundation Models

Recent 3D geometric foundation models, such as VGGT, provide robust feed-forward 3D reconstruction by directly predicting camera poses and 3D scene points from input images. However, their results remain inaccurate, and scaling them to long sequences or large unordered image sets typically requires chunk-wise processing, which can introduce drift and inconsistency. We present Glob3R, a global SfM-style reconstruction built on 3D foundation models. Our key idea is to explicitly optimize feed-forward geometric predictions. To this end, we augment a frozen Pi3X backbone with a lightweight dense matching head that predicts image warps between selected reference frames and neighboring views. These dense warps are converted into sparse but reliable multi-view feature tracks, which provide correspondence constraints for global optimization. We further introduce a keyframe-based sliding-window association strategy that propagates tracks and relative poses across overlapping windows, enabling scalable reconstruction. Finally, we perform global motion averaging and bundle adjustment to refine camera poses, reduce scale inconsistencies, and recover dense scene geometry. Extensive experiments on indoor, outdoor, large-scale driving, and unordered SfM benchmarks demonstrate that Glob3R achieves robust and accurate reconstruction. It consistently improves over feed-forward foundation-model baselines and recent scalable reconstruction methods, while being more robust than classical SfM pipelines. The refined poses also lead to higher-quality neural rendering, validating the benefit of combining foundation-model priors with global geometric optimization. LSRM: High-Fidelity Object-Centric Reconstruction via Scaled Context Windows

We introduce the Large Sparse Reconstruction Model to study how scaling transformer context windows impacts feed-forward 3D reconstruction. Although recent object-centric feed-forward methods deliver robust, high-quality reconstruction, they still lag behind dense-view optimization in recovering fine-grained texture and appearance. We show that expanding the context window -- by substantially increasing the number of active object and image tokens -- remarkably narrows this gap and enables high-fidelity 3D object reconstruction and inverse rendering. To scale effectively, we adapt native sparse attention in our architecture design, unlocking its capacity for 3D reconstruction with three key contributions: (1) an efficient coarse-to-fine pipeline that focuses computation on informative regions by predicting sparse high-resolution residuals; (2) a 3D-aware spatial routing mechanism that establishes accurate 2D-3D correspondences using explicit geometric distances rather than standard attention scores; and (3) a custom block-aware sequence parallelism strategy utilizing an All-gather-KV protocol to balance dynamic, sparse workloads across GPUs. As a result, LSRM handles 20x more object tokens and >2x more image tokens than prior state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods. Extensive evaluations on standard novel-view synthesis benchmarks show substantial gains over the current SOTA, yielding 2.5 dB higher PSNR and 40% lower LPIPS. Furthermore, when extending LSRM to inverse rendering tasks, qualitative and quantitative evaluations on widely-used benchmarks demonstrate consistent improvements in texture and geometry details, achieving an LPIPS that matches or exceeds that of SOTA dense-view optimization methods. Code and model will be released on our project page.

IGGT4D: Streaming 4D Instance-Grounded Geometry Transformer

Real-world spatial intelligence requires agents to understand scenes from continuous video streams, where objects move, persist, disappear, and reappear over time. While recent spatial foundation models have enabled generalizable feed-forward 3D reconstruction, most streaming methods remain geometry-centric and lack temporally consistent object-level understanding. Meanwhile, existing semantic reconstruction and 3D-aware vision-language methods largely rely on externally extracted 2D semantic cues or loosely coupled geometry inputs, limiting unified geometry-instance learning in long dynamic scenes. In this paper, we propose IGGT4D, a streaming instance-grounded geometry Transformer for online 4D scene understanding. IGGT4D processes video frames sequentially, reuses historical context through causal spatial-temporal modeling, and incrementally updates a unified representation of camera motion, geometry, and object identity. This enables long-sequence feed-forward reconstruction with geometry-instance consistency in dynamic environments. To address the lack of high-quality 4D supervision, we further construct InsScene4D-147K, a large-scale dataset spanning real/synthetic and static/dynamic scenes, with RGB images, depth, poses, and temporally consistent instance masks generated by an automated geometry-guided annotation pipeline. Experiments on 3D reconstruction, pose estimation, instance spatial tracking, and open-vocabulary segmentation demonstrate that IGGT4D outperforms existing streaming baselines while maintaining scalable online inference for long dynamic sequences.

ForeHOI: Feed-forward 3D Object Reconstruction from Daily Hand-Object Interaction Videos

The ubiquity of monocular videos capturing daily hand-object interactions presents a valuable resource for embodied intelligence. While 3D hand reconstruction from in-the-wild videos has seen significant progress, reconstructing the involved objects remains challenging due to severe occlusions and the complex, coupled motion of the camera, hands, and object. In this paper, we introduce ForeHOI, a novel feed-forward model that directly reconstructs 3D object geometry from monocular hand-object interaction videos within one minute of inference time, eliminating the need for any pre-processing steps. Our key insight is that, the joint prediction of 2D mask inpainting and 3D shape completion in a feed-forward framework can effectively address the problem of severe occlusion in monocular hand-held object videos, thereby achieving results that outperform the performance of optimization-based methods. The information exchanges between the 2D and 3D shape completion boosts the overall reconstruction quality, enabling the framework to effectively handle severe hand-object occlusion. Furthermore, to support the training of our model, we contribute the first large-scale, high-fidelity synthetic dataset of hand-object interactions with comprehensive annotations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ForeHOI achieves state-of-the-art performance in object reconstruction, significantly outperforming previous methods with around a 100x speedup. Styl3R: Instant 3D Stylized Reconstruction for Arbitrary Scenes and Styles

Stylizing 3D scenes instantly while maintaining multi-view consistency and faithfully resembling a style image remains a significant challenge. Current state-of-the-art 3D stylization methods typically involve computationally intensive test-time optimization to transfer artistic features into a pretrained 3D representation, often requiring dense posed input images. In contrast, leveraging recent advances in feed-forward reconstruction models, we demonstrate a novel approach to achieve direct 3D stylization in less than a second using unposed sparse-view scene images and an arbitrary style image. To address the inherent decoupling between reconstruction and stylization, we introduce a branched architecture that separates structure modeling and appearance shading, effectively preventing stylistic transfer from distorting the underlying 3D scene structure. Furthermore, we adapt an identity loss to facilitate pre-training our stylization model through the novel view synthesis task. This strategy also allows our model to retain its original reconstruction capabilities while being fine-tuned for stylization. Comprehensive evaluations, using both in-domain and out-of-domain datasets, demonstrate that our approach produces high-quality stylized 3D content that achieve a superior blend of style and scene appearance, while also outperforming existing methods in terms of multi-view consistency and efficiency.

AdaptSplat: Adapting Vision Foundation Models for Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

This work explores a simple yet powerful lightweight adapter design for feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). Existing methods typically apply complex, architecture-specific designs on top of the generic pipeline of image feature extraction rightarrow multi-view interaction rightarrow feature decoding. However, constrained by the scale bottleneck of 3D training data and the low-pass filtering effect of deep networks, these methods still fall short in cross-domain generalization and high-frequency geometric fidelity. To address these problems, we propose AdaptSplat, which demonstrates that without complex component engineering, introducing a single adapter of only 1.5M parameters into the generic architecture is sufficient to achieve superior performance. Specifically, we design a lightweight Frequency-Preserving Adapter (FPA) that extracts direction-aware high-frequency structural priors from the shallow features of a powerful vision foundation model backbone, and seamlessly integrates them into the generic pipeline via high-frequency positional encodings and adaptive residual modulation. This effectively compensates for the high-frequency attenuation caused by over-smoothing in deep features, improving the fitting accuracy of Gaussian primitives on complex surfaces and sharp boundaries. Extensive experiments demonstrate that AdaptSplat achieves state-of-the-art feed-forward reconstruction performance on multiple standard benchmarks, with stable generalization across domains. SR3R: Rethinking Super-Resolution 3D Reconstruction With Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting

3D super-resolution (3DSR) aims to reconstruct high-resolution (HR) 3D scenes from low-resolution (LR) multi-view images. Existing methods rely on dense LR inputs and per-scene optimization, which restricts the high-frequency priors for constructing HR 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) to those inherited from pretrained 2D super-resolution (2DSR) models. This severely limits reconstruction fidelity, cross-scene generalization, and real-time usability. We propose to reformulate 3DSR as a direct feed-forward mapping from sparse LR views to HR 3DGS representations, enabling the model to autonomously learn 3D-specific high-frequency geometry and appearance from large-scale, multi-scene data. This fundamentally changes how 3DSR acquires high-frequency knowledge and enables robust generalization to unseen scenes. Specifically, we introduce SR3R, a feed-forward framework that directly predicts HR 3DGS representations from sparse LR views via the learned mapping network. To further enhance reconstruction fidelity, we introduce Gaussian offset learning and feature refinement, which stabilize reconstruction and sharpen high-frequency details. SR3R is plug-and-play and can be paired with any feed-forward 3DGS reconstruction backbone: the backbone provides an LR 3DGS scaffold, and SR3R upscales it to an HR 3DGS. Extensive experiments across three 3D benchmarks demonstrate that SR3R surpasses state-of-the-art (SOTA) 3DSR methods and achieves strong zero-shot generalization, even outperforming SOTA per-scene optimization methods on unseen scenes.

Instruct-Particulate: Scaling Feed-Forward 3D Object Articulation with Kinematic Control

Reconstructing articulated 3D objects is important for animation, gaming, and robotic simulations. Recent neural networks can estimate the articulated structure of 3D objects, but their generalization remains limited by the scarcity of annotated data for this task. To address this gap, we introduce Instruct-Particulate, a model that takes a 3D mesh together with a target kinematic specification, including part descriptions, connectivity, joint types, and optional point prompts, and predicts the corresponding kinematic part segmentation and joint motion parameters. The kinematic specification disambiguates the task and allows the model to target annotations of different granularity, thereby making it possible to use more abundant heterogeneous training data. At test time, the kinematic specification can be obtained automatically from large-scale vision-language models, so the model can be applied to any input mesh. To train our model at scale, we construct a heterogeneous dataset of more than 150,000 articulated 3D objects, extending existing publicly available collections with data obtained by partially labelling other 3D models (monolithic or already decomposed into parts) with kinematic labels by means of vision-language models. Experiments show that our model generalizes better across categories and to AI-generated meshes, enabling articulated asset reconstruction from real-world images via image-to-3D models.

ARTDECO: Towards Efficient and High-Fidelity On-the-Fly 3D Reconstruction with Structured Scene Representation

On-the-fly 3D reconstruction from monocular image sequences is a long-standing challenge in computer vision, critical for applications such as real-to-sim, AR/VR, and robotics. Existing methods face a major tradeoff: per-scene optimization yields high fidelity but is computationally expensive, whereas feed-forward foundation models enable real-time inference but struggle with accuracy and robustness. In this work, we propose ARTDECO, a unified framework that combines the efficiency of feed-forward models with the reliability of SLAM-based pipelines. ARTDECO uses 3D foundation models for pose estimation and point prediction, coupled with a Gaussian decoder that transforms multi-scale features into structured 3D Gaussians. To sustain both fidelity and efficiency at scale, we design a hierarchical Gaussian representation with a LoD-aware rendering strategy, which improves rendering fidelity while reducing redundancy. Experiments on eight diverse indoor and outdoor benchmarks show that ARTDECO delivers interactive performance comparable to SLAM, robustness similar to feed-forward systems, and reconstruction quality close to per-scene optimization, providing a practical path toward on-the-fly digitization of real-world environments with both accurate geometry and high visual fidelity. SEAR: Simple and Efficient Adaptation of Visual Geometric Transformers for RGB+Thermal 3D Reconstruction

Foundational feed-forward visual geometry models enable accurate and efficient camera pose estimation and scene reconstruction by learning strong scene priors from massive RGB datasets. However, their effectiveness drops when applied to mixed sensing modalities, such as RGB-thermal (RGB-T) images. We observe that while a visual geometry grounded transformer pretrained on RGB data generalizes well to thermal-only reconstruction, it struggles to align RGB and thermal modalities when processed jointly. To address this, we propose SEAR, a simple yet efficient fine-tuning strategy that adapts a pretrained geometry transformer to multimodal RGB-T inputs. Despite being trained on a relatively small RGB-T dataset, our approach significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods for 3D reconstruction and camera pose estimation, achieving significant improvements over all metrics (e.g., over 29\% in AUC@30) and delivering higher detail and consistency between modalities with negligible overhead in inference time compared to the original pretrained model. Notably, SEAR enables reliable multimodal pose estimation and reconstruction even under challenging conditions, such as low lighting and dense smoke. We validate our architecture through extensive ablation studies, demonstrating how the model aligns both modalities. Additionally, we introduce a new dataset featuring RGB and thermal sequences captured at different times, viewpoints, and illumination conditions, providing a robust benchmark for future work in multimodal 3D scene reconstruction. InvSplat: Inverse Feed-Forward Scene Splatting

Inverse rendering aims to recover both 3D geometry and physically meaningful material properties from images, enabling applications such as relighting and novel view synthesis. Optimization-based methods achieve high fidelity but require costly per-scene fitting, while image-space learning-based approaches often suffer from multi-view inconsistencies and lack an explicit 3D representation for stable novel view rendering. We present a feed-forward multi-view reconstruction framework for inverse rendering that directly predicts a structured 3D Gaussian representation with intrinsic material attributes. Each Gaussian primitive is parameterized by mean, normal, opacity, rotation, scale, albedo, metallic, and roughness, enabling a disentangled and physically grounded scene representation. Our model integrates priors from a material estimation network with a multi-view 3D reconstruction backbone, allowing joint prediction of geometry and reflectance parameters in a single forward pass. Experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate improved multi-view consistency compared to 2D baselines, accurate material recovery, and stable novel view rendering. Our representation further supports physically-based relighting and more faithful modeling of view-dependent effects compared to existing RGB-based feed-forward reconstruction methods. DSplats: 3D Generation by Denoising Splats-Based Multiview Diffusion Models

Generating high-quality 3D content requires models capable of learning robust distributions of complex scenes and the real-world objects within them. Recent Gaussian-based 3D reconstruction techniques have achieved impressive results in recovering high-fidelity 3D assets from sparse input images by predicting 3D Gaussians in a feed-forward manner. However, these techniques often lack the extensive priors and expressiveness offered by Diffusion Models. On the other hand, 2D Diffusion Models, which have been successfully applied to denoise multiview images, show potential for generating a wide range of photorealistic 3D outputs but still fall short on explicit 3D priors and consistency. In this work, we aim to bridge these two approaches by introducing DSplats, a novel method that directly denoises multiview images using Gaussian Splat-based Reconstructors to produce a diverse array of realistic 3D assets. To harness the extensive priors of 2D Diffusion Models, we incorporate a pretrained Latent Diffusion Model into the reconstructor backbone to predict a set of 3D Gaussians. Additionally, the explicit 3D representation embedded in the denoising network provides a strong inductive bias, ensuring geometrically consistent novel view generation. Our qualitative and quantitative experiments demonstrate that DSplats not only produces high-quality, spatially consistent outputs, but also sets a new standard in single-image to 3D reconstruction. When evaluated on the Google Scanned Objects dataset, DSplats achieves a PSNR of 20.38, an SSIM of 0.842, and an LPIPS of 0.109.

Triplane Meets Gaussian Splatting: Fast and Generalizable Single-View 3D Reconstruction with Transformers

Recent advancements in 3D reconstruction from single images have been driven by the evolution of generative models. Prominent among these are methods based on Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) and the adaptation of diffusion models in the 3D domain. Despite their progress, these techniques often face limitations due to slow optimization or rendering processes, leading to extensive training and optimization times. In this paper, we introduce a novel approach for single-view reconstruction that efficiently generates a 3D model from a single image via feed-forward inference. Our method utilizes two transformer-based networks, namely a point decoder and a triplane decoder, to reconstruct 3D objects using a hybrid Triplane-Gaussian intermediate representation. This hybrid representation strikes a balance, achieving a faster rendering speed compared to implicit representations while simultaneously delivering superior rendering quality than explicit representations. The point decoder is designed for generating point clouds from single images, offering an explicit representation which is then utilized by the triplane decoder to query Gaussian features for each point. This design choice addresses the challenges associated with directly regressing explicit 3D Gaussian attributes characterized by their non-structural nature. Subsequently, the 3D Gaussians are decoded by an MLP to enable rapid rendering through splatting. Both decoders are built upon a scalable, transformer-based architecture and have been efficiently trained on large-scale 3D datasets. The evaluations conducted on both synthetic datasets and real-world images demonstrate that our method not only achieves higher quality but also ensures a faster runtime in comparison to previous state-of-the-art techniques. StdGEN: Semantic-Decomposed 3D Character Generation from Single Images

We present StdGEN, an innovative pipeline for generating semantically decomposed high-quality 3D characters from single images, enabling broad applications in virtual reality, gaming, and filmmaking, etc. Unlike previous methods which struggle with limited decomposability, unsatisfactory quality, and long optimization times, StdGEN features decomposability, effectiveness and efficiency; i.e., it generates intricately detailed 3D characters with separated semantic components such as the body, clothes, and hair, in three minutes. At the core of StdGEN is our proposed Semantic-aware Large Reconstruction Model (S-LRM), a transformer-based generalizable model that jointly reconstructs geometry, color and semantics from multi-view images in a feed-forward manner. A differentiable multi-layer semantic surface extraction scheme is introduced to acquire meshes from hybrid implicit fields reconstructed by our S-LRM. Additionally, a specialized efficient multi-view diffusion model and an iterative multi-layer surface refinement module are integrated into the pipeline to facilitate high-quality, decomposable 3D character generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate our state-of-the-art performance in 3D anime character generation, surpassing existing baselines by a significant margin in geometry, texture and decomposability. StdGEN offers ready-to-use semantic-decomposed 3D characters and enables flexible customization for a wide range of applications. Project page: https://stdgen.github.io

GenLCA: 3D Diffusion for Full-Body Avatars from In-the-Wild Videos

We present GenLCA, a diffusion-based generative model for generating and editing photorealistic full-body avatars from text and image inputs. The generated avatars are faithful to the inputs, while supporting high-fidelity facial and full-body animations. The core idea is a novel paradigm that enables training a full-body 3D diffusion model from partially observable 2D data, allowing the training dataset to scale to millions of real-world videos. This scalability contributes to the superior photorealism and generalizability of GenLCA. Specifically, we scale up the dataset by repurposing a pretrained feed-forward avatar reconstruction model as an animatable 3D tokenizer, which encodes unstructured video frames into structured 3D tokens. However, most real-world videos only provide partial observations of body parts, resulting in excessive blurring or transparency artifacts in the 3D tokens. To address this, we propose a novel visibility-aware diffusion training strategy that replaces invalid regions with learnable tokens and computes losses only over valid regions. We then train a flow-based diffusion model on the token dataset, inherently maintaining the photorealism and animatability provided by the pretrained avatar reconstruction model. Our approach effectively enables the use of large-scale real-world video data to train a diffusion model natively in 3D. We demonstrate the efficacy of our method through diverse and high-fidelity generation and editing results, outperforming existing solutions by a large margin. Tencent Hunyuan3D-1.0: A Unified Framework for Text-to-3D and Image-to-3D Generation

While 3D generative models have greatly improved artists' workflows, the existing diffusion models for 3D generation suffer from slow generation and poor generalization. To address this issue, we propose a two-stage approach named Hunyuan3D-1.0 including a lite version and a standard version, that both support text- and image-conditioned generation. In the first stage, we employ a multi-view diffusion model that efficiently generates multi-view RGB in approximately 4 seconds. These multi-view images capture rich details of the 3D asset from different viewpoints, relaxing the tasks from single-view to multi-view reconstruction. In the second stage, we introduce a feed-forward reconstruction model that rapidly and faithfully reconstructs the 3D asset given the generated multi-view images in approximately 7 seconds. The reconstruction network learns to handle noises and in-consistency introduced by the multi-view diffusion and leverages the available information from the condition image to efficiently recover the 3D structure. Our framework involves the text-to-image model, i.e., Hunyuan-DiT, making it a unified framework to support both text- and image-conditioned 3D generation. Our standard version has 3x more parameters than our lite and other existing model. Our Hunyuan3D-1.0 achieves an impressive balance between speed and quality, significantly reducing generation time while maintaining the quality and diversity of the produced assets.

StdGEN++: A Comprehensive System for Semantic-Decomposed 3D Character Generation

We present StdGEN++, a novel and comprehensive system for generating high-fidelity, semantically decomposed 3D characters from diverse inputs. Existing 3D generative methods often produce monolithic meshes that lack the structural flexibility required by industrial pipelines in gaming and animation. Addressing this gap, StdGEN++ is built upon a Dual-branch Semantic-aware Large Reconstruction Model (Dual-Branch S-LRM), which jointly reconstructs geometry, color, and per-component semantics in a feed-forward manner. To achieve production-level fidelity, we introduce a novel semantic surface extraction formalism compatible with hybrid implicit fields. This mechanism is accelerated by a coarse-to-fine proposal scheme, which significantly reduces memory footprint and enables high-resolution mesh generation. Furthermore, we propose a video-diffusion-based texture decomposition module that disentangles appearance into editable layers (e.g., separated iris and skin), resolving semantic confusion in facial regions. Experiments demonstrate that StdGEN++ achieves state-of-the-art performance, significantly outperforming existing methods in geometric accuracy and semantic disentanglement. Crucially, the resulting structural independence unlocks advanced downstream capabilities, including non-destructive editing, physics-compliant animation, and gaze tracking, making it a robust solution for automated character asset production.

Lyra 2.0: Explorable Generative 3D Worlds

Recent advances in video generation enable a new paradigm for 3D scene creation: generating camera-controlled videos that simulate scene walkthroughs, then lifting them to 3D via feed-forward reconstruction techniques. This generative reconstruction approach combines the visual fidelity and creative capacity of video models with 3D outputs ready for real-time rendering and simulation. Scaling to large, complex environments requires 3D-consistent video generation over long camera trajectories with large viewpoint changes and location revisits, a setting where current video models degrade quickly. Existing methods for long-horizon generation are fundamentally limited by two forms of degradation: spatial forgetting and temporal drifting. As exploration proceeds, previously observed regions fall outside the model's temporal context, forcing the model to hallucinate structures when revisited. Meanwhile, autoregressive generation accumulates small synthesis errors over time, gradually distorting scene appearance and geometry. We present Lyra 2.0, a framework for generating persistent, explorable 3D worlds at scale. To address spatial forgetting, we maintain per-frame 3D geometry and use it solely for information routing -- retrieving relevant past frames and establishing dense correspondences with the target viewpoints -- while relying on the generative prior for appearance synthesis. To address temporal drifting, we train with self-augmented histories that expose the model to its own degraded outputs, teaching it to correct drift rather than propagate it. Together, these enable substantially longer and 3D-consistent video trajectories, which we leverage to fine-tune feed-forward reconstruction models that reliably recover high-quality 3D scenes.

TextSplat: Text-Guided Semantic Fusion for Generalizable Gaussian Splatting

Recent advancements in Generalizable Gaussian Splatting have enabled robust 3D reconstruction from sparse input views by utilizing feed-forward Gaussian Splatting models, achieving superior cross-scene generalization. However, while many methods focus on geometric consistency, they often neglect the potential of text-driven guidance to enhance semantic understanding, which is crucial for accurately reconstructing fine-grained details in complex scenes. To address this limitation, we propose TextSplat--the first text-driven Generalizable Gaussian Splatting framework. By employing a text-guided fusion of diverse semantic cues, our framework learns robust cross-modal feature representations that improve the alignment of geometric and semantic information, producing high-fidelity 3D reconstructions. Specifically, our framework employs three parallel modules to obtain complementary representations: the Diffusion Prior Depth Estimator for accurate depth information, the Semantic Aware Segmentation Network for detailed semantic information, and the Multi-View Interaction Network for refined cross-view features. Then, in the Text-Guided Semantic Fusion Module, these representations are integrated via the text-guided and attention-based feature aggregation mechanism, resulting in enhanced 3D Gaussian parameters enriched with detailed semantic cues. Experimental results on various benchmark datasets demonstrate improved performance compared to existing methods across multiple evaluation metrics, validating the effectiveness of our framework. The code will be publicly available.

EmbodiedSplat: Online Feed-Forward Semantic 3DGS for Open-Vocabulary 3D Scene Understanding

Understanding a 3D scene immediately with its exploration is essential for embodied tasks, where an agent must construct and comprehend the 3D scene in an online and nearly real-time manner. In this study, we propose EmbodiedSplat, an online feed-forward 3DGS for open-vocabulary scene understanding that enables simultaneous online 3D reconstruction and 3D semantic understanding from the streaming images. Unlike existing open-vocabulary 3DGS methods which are typically restricted to either offline or per-scene optimization setting, our objectives are two-fold: 1) Reconstructs the semantic-embedded 3DGS of the entire scene from over 300 streaming images in an online manner. 2) Highly generalizable to novel scenes with feed-forward design and supports nearly real-time 3D semantic reconstruction when combined with real-time 2D models. To achieve these objectives, we propose an Online Sparse Coefficients Field with a CLIP Global Codebook where it binds the 2D CLIP embeddings to each 3D Gaussian while minimizing memory consumption and preserving the full semantic generalizability of CLIP. Furthermore, we generate 3D geometric-aware CLIP features by aggregating the partial point cloud of 3DGS through 3D U-Net to compensate the 3D geometric prior to 2D-oriented language embeddings. Extensive experiments on diverse indoor datasets, including ScanNet, ScanNet++, and Replica, demonstrate both the effectiveness and efficiency of our method. ReconDrive: Fast Feed-Forward 4D Gaussian Splatting for Autonomous Driving Scene Reconstruction

High-fidelity visual reconstruction and novel-view synthesis are essential for realistic closed-loop evaluation in autonomous driving. While 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS) offers a promising balance of accuracy and efficiency, existing per-scene optimization methods require costly iterative refinement, rendering them unscalable for extensive urban environments. Conversely, current feed-forward approaches often suffer from degraded photometric quality. To address these limitations, we propose ReconDrive, a feed-forward framework that leverages and extends the 3D foundation model VGGT for rapid, high-fidelity 4DGS generation. Our architecture introduces two core adaptations to tailor the foundation model to dynamic driving scenes: (1) Hybrid Gaussian Prediction Heads, which decouple the regression of spatial coordinates and appearance attributes to overcome the photometric deficiencies inherent in generalized foundation features; and (2) a Static-Dynamic 4D Composition strategy that explicitly captures temporal motion via velocity modeling to represent complex dynamic environments. Benchmarked on nuScenes, ReconDrive significantly outperforms existing feed-forward baselines in reconstruction, novel-view synthesis, and 3D perception. It achieves performance competitive with per-scene optimization while being orders of magnitude faster, providing a scalable and practical solution for realistic driving simulation.

One-2-3-45: Any Single Image to 3D Mesh in 45 Seconds without Per-Shape Optimization

Single image 3D reconstruction is an important but challenging task that requires extensive knowledge of our natural world. Many existing methods solve this problem by optimizing a neural radiance field under the guidance of 2D diffusion models but suffer from lengthy optimization time, 3D inconsistency results, and poor geometry. In this work, we propose a novel method that takes a single image of any object as input and generates a full 360-degree 3D textured mesh in a single feed-forward pass. Given a single image, we first use a view-conditioned 2D diffusion model, Zero123, to generate multi-view images for the input view, and then aim to lift them up to 3D space. Since traditional reconstruction methods struggle with inconsistent multi-view predictions, we build our 3D reconstruction module upon an SDF-based generalizable neural surface reconstruction method and propose several critical training strategies to enable the reconstruction of 360-degree meshes. Without costly optimizations, our method reconstructs 3D shapes in significantly less time than existing methods. Moreover, our method favors better geometry, generates more 3D consistent results, and adheres more closely to the input image. We evaluate our approach on both synthetic data and in-the-wild images and demonstrate its superiority in terms of both mesh quality and runtime. In addition, our approach can seamlessly support the text-to-3D task by integrating with off-the-shelf text-to-image diffusion models.

FreeArt3D: Training-Free Articulated Object Generation using 3D Diffusion

Articulated 3D objects are central to many applications in robotics, AR/VR, and animation. Recent approaches to modeling such objects either rely on optimization-based reconstruction pipelines that require dense-view supervision or on feed-forward generative models that produce coarse geometric approximations and often overlook surface texture. In contrast, open-world 3D generation of static objects has achieved remarkable success, especially with the advent of native 3D diffusion models such as Trellis. However, extending these methods to articulated objects by training native 3D diffusion models poses significant challenges. In this work, we present FreeArt3D, a training-free framework for articulated 3D object generation. Instead of training a new model on limited articulated data, FreeArt3D repurposes a pre-trained static 3D diffusion model (e.g., Trellis) as a powerful shape prior. It extends Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) into the 3D-to-4D domain by treating articulation as an additional generative dimension. Given a few images captured in different articulation states, FreeArt3D jointly optimizes the object's geometry, texture, and articulation parameters without requiring task-specific training or access to large-scale articulated datasets. Our method generates high-fidelity geometry and textures, accurately predicts underlying kinematic structures, and generalizes well across diverse object categories. Despite following a per-instance optimization paradigm, FreeArt3D completes in minutes and significantly outperforms prior state-of-the-art approaches in both quality and versatility.

VideoMV: Consistent Multi-View Generation Based on Large Video Generative Model

Generating multi-view images based on text or single-image prompts is a critical capability for the creation of 3D content. Two fundamental questions on this topic are what data we use for training and how to ensure multi-view consistency. This paper introduces a novel framework that makes fundamental contributions to both questions. Unlike leveraging images from 2D diffusion models for training, we propose a dense consistent multi-view generation model that is fine-tuned from off-the-shelf video generative models. Images from video generative models are more suitable for multi-view generation because the underlying network architecture that generates them employs a temporal module to enforce frame consistency. Moreover, the video data sets used to train these models are abundant and diverse, leading to a reduced train-finetuning domain gap. To enhance multi-view consistency, we introduce a 3D-Aware Denoising Sampling, which first employs a feed-forward reconstruction module to get an explicit global 3D model, and then adopts a sampling strategy that effectively involves images rendered from the global 3D model into the denoising sampling loop to improve the multi-view consistency of the final images. As a by-product, this module also provides a fast way to create 3D assets represented by 3D Gaussians within a few seconds. Our approach can generate 24 dense views and converges much faster in training than state-of-the-art approaches (4 GPU hours versus many thousand GPU hours) with comparable visual quality and consistency. By further fine-tuning, our approach outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods in both quantitative metrics and visual effects. Our project page is aigc3d.github.io/VideoMV.

Robust Attentional Aggregation of Deep Feature Sets for Multi-view 3D Reconstruction

We study the problem of recovering an underlying 3D shape from a set of images. Existing learning based approaches usually resort to recurrent neural nets, e.g., GRU, or intuitive pooling operations, e.g., max/mean poolings, to fuse multiple deep features encoded from input images. However, GRU based approaches are unable to consistently estimate 3D shapes given different permutations of the same set of input images as the recurrent unit is permutation variant. It is also unlikely to refine the 3D shape given more images due to the long-term memory loss of GRU. Commonly used pooling approaches are limited to capturing partial information, e.g., max/mean values, ignoring other valuable features. In this paper, we present a new feed-forward neural module, named AttSets, together with a dedicated training algorithm, named FASet, to attentively aggregate an arbitrarily sized deep feature set for multi-view 3D reconstruction. The AttSets module is permutation invariant, computationally efficient and flexible to implement, while the FASet algorithm enables the AttSets based network to be remarkably robust and generalize to an arbitrary number of input images. We thoroughly evaluate FASet and the properties of AttSets on multiple large public datasets. Extensive experiments show that AttSets together with FASet algorithm significantly outperforms existing aggregation approaches.

LiveStre4m: Feed-Forward Live Streaming of Novel Views from Unposed Multi-View Video

Live-streaming Novel View Synthesis (NVS) from unposed multi-view video remains an open challenge in a wide range of applications. Existing methods for dynamic scene representation typically require ground-truth camera parameters and involve lengthy optimizations (approx 2.67s), which makes them unsuitable for live streaming scenarios. To address this issue, we propose a novel viewpoint video live-streaming method (LiveStre4m), a feed-forward model for real-time NVS from unposed sparse multi-view inputs. LiveStre4m introduces a multi-view vision transformer for keyframe 3D scene reconstruction coupled with a diffusion-transformer interpolation module that ensures temporal consistency and stable streaming. In addition, a Camera Pose Predictor module is proposed to efficiently estimate both poses and intrinsics directly from RGB images, removing the reliance on known camera calibration information. Our approach enables temporally consistent novel-view video streaming in real-time using as few as two synchronized unposed input streams. LiveStre4m attains an average reconstruction time of 0.07s per-frame at 1024 times 768 resolution, outperforming the optimization-based dynamic scene representation methods by orders of magnitude in runtime. These results demonstrate that LiveStre4m makes real-time NVS streaming feasible in practical settings, marking a substantial step toward deployable live novel-view synthesis systems. Video Perception Models for 3D Scene Synthesis

Traditionally, 3D scene synthesis requires expert knowledge and significant manual effort. Automating this process could greatly benefit fields such as architectural design, robotics simulation, virtual reality, and gaming. Recent approaches to 3D scene synthesis often rely on the commonsense reasoning of large language models (LLMs) or strong visual priors of modern image generation models. However, current LLMs demonstrate limited 3D spatial reasoning ability, which restricts their ability to generate realistic and coherent 3D scenes. Meanwhile, image generation-based methods often suffer from constraints in viewpoint selection and multi-view inconsistencies. In this work, we present Video Perception models for 3D Scene synthesis (VIPScene), a novel framework that exploits the encoded commonsense knowledge of the 3D physical world in video generation models to ensure coherent scene layouts and consistent object placements across views. VIPScene accepts both text and image prompts and seamlessly integrates video generation, feedforward 3D reconstruction, and open-vocabulary perception models to semantically and geometrically analyze each object in a scene. This enables flexible scene synthesis with high realism and structural consistency. For more precise analysis, we further introduce First-Person View Score (FPVScore) for coherence and plausibility evaluation, utilizing continuous first-person perspective to capitalize on the reasoning ability of multimodal large language models. Extensive experiments show that VIPScene significantly outperforms existing methods and generalizes well across diverse scenarios. The code will be released.

VIST3A: Text-to-3D by Stitching a Multi-view Reconstruction Network to a Video Generator

The rapid progress of large, pretrained models for both visual content generation and 3D reconstruction opens up new possibilities for text-to-3D generation. Intuitively, one could obtain a formidable 3D scene generator if one were able to combine the power of a modern latent text-to-video model as "generator" with the geometric abilities of a recent (feedforward) 3D reconstruction system as "decoder". We introduce VIST3A, a general framework that does just that, addressing two main challenges. First, the two components must be joined in a way that preserves the rich knowledge encoded in their weights. We revisit model stitching, i.e., we identify the layer in the 3D decoder that best matches the latent representation produced by the text-to-video generator and stitch the two parts together. That operation requires only a small dataset and no labels. Second, the text-to-video generator must be aligned with the stitched 3D decoder, to ensure that the generated latents are decodable into consistent, perceptually convincing 3D scene geometry. To that end, we adapt direct reward finetuning, a popular technique for human preference alignment. We evaluate the proposed VIST3A approach with different video generators and 3D reconstruction models. All tested pairings markedly improve over prior text-to-3D models that output Gaussian splats. Moreover, by choosing a suitable 3D base model, VIST3A also enables high-quality text-to-pointmap generation.

FF3R: Feedforward Feature 3D Reconstruction from Unconstrained views

Recent advances in vision foundation models have revolutionized geometry reconstruction and semantic understanding. Yet, most of the existing approaches treat these capabilities in isolation, leading to redundant pipelines and compounded errors. This paper introduces FF3R, a fully annotation-free feed-forward framework that unifies geometric and semantic reasoning from unconstrained multi-view image sequences. Unlike previous methods, FF3R does not require camera poses, depth maps, or semantic labels, relying solely on rendering supervision for RGB and feature maps, establishing a scalable paradigm for unified 3D reasoning. In addition, we address two critical challenges in feedforward feature reconstruction pipelines, namely global semantic inconsistency and local structural inconsistency, through two key innovations: (i) a Token-wise Fusion Module that enriches geometry tokens with semantic context via cross-attention, and (ii) a Semantic-Geometry Mutual Boosting mechanism combining geometry-guided feature warping for global consistency with semantic-aware voxelization for local coherence. Extensive experiments on ScanNet and DL3DV-10K demonstrate FF3R's superior performance in novel-view synthesis, open-vocabulary semantic segmentation, and depth estimation, with strong generalization to in-the-wild scenarios, paving the way for embodied intelligence systems that demand both spatial and semantic understanding.

YoNoSplat: You Only Need One Model for Feedforward 3D Gaussian Splatting

Fast and flexible 3D scene reconstruction from unstructured image collections remains a significant challenge. We present YoNoSplat, a feedforward model that reconstructs high-quality 3D Gaussian Splatting representations from an arbitrary number of images. Our model is highly versatile, operating effectively with both posed and unposed, calibrated and uncalibrated inputs. YoNoSplat predicts local Gaussians and camera poses for each view, which are aggregated into a global representation using either predicted or provided poses. To overcome the inherent difficulty of jointly learning 3D Gaussians and camera parameters, we introduce a novel mixing training strategy. This approach mitigates the entanglement between the two tasks by initially using ground-truth poses to aggregate local Gaussians and gradually transitioning to a mix of predicted and ground-truth poses, which prevents both training instability and exposure bias. We further resolve the scale ambiguity problem by a novel pairwise camera-distance normalization scheme and by embedding camera intrinsics into the network. Moreover, YoNoSplat also predicts intrinsic parameters, making it feasible for uncalibrated inputs. YoNoSplat demonstrates exceptional efficiency, reconstructing a scene from 100 views (at 280x518 resolution) in just 2.69 seconds on an NVIDIA GH200 GPU. It achieves state-of-the-art performance on standard benchmarks in both pose-free and pose-dependent settings. Our project page is at https://botaoye.github.io/yonosplat/.

Dream3DAvatar: Text-Controlled 3D Avatar Reconstruction from a Single Image

With the rapid advancement of 3D representation techniques and generative models, substantial progress has been made in reconstructing full-body 3D avatars from a single image. However, this task remains fundamentally ill-posedness due to the limited information available from monocular input, making it difficult to control the geometry and texture of occluded regions during generation. To address these challenges, we redesign the reconstruction pipeline and propose Dream3DAvatar, an efficient and text-controllable two-stage framework for 3D avatar generation. In the first stage, we develop a lightweight, adapter-enhanced multi-view generation model. Specifically, we introduce the Pose-Adapter to inject SMPL-X renderings and skeletal information into SDXL, enforcing geometric and pose consistency across views. To preserve facial identity, we incorporate ID-Adapter-G, which injects high-resolution facial features into the generation process. Additionally, we leverage BLIP2 to generate high-quality textual descriptions of the multi-view images, enhancing text-driven controllability in occluded regions. In the second stage, we design a feedforward Transformer model equipped with a multi-view feature fusion module to reconstruct high-fidelity 3D Gaussian Splat representations (3DGS) from the generated images. Furthermore, we introduce ID-Adapter-R, which utilizes a gating mechanism to effectively fuse facial features into the reconstruction process, improving high-frequency detail recovery. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method can generate realistic, animation-ready 3D avatars without any post-processing and consistently outperforms existing baselines across multiple evaluation metrics.
